WHO I WORK WITH

Does any of this
sound familiar?

You don't have to have the "right" kind of problem to benefit from somatic therapy. If you feel stuck in your body, your mind, or both - there's a way forward.

Anxiety & Overwhelm

You're constantly in your head, bracing for the next thing to go wrong. Your nervous system is stuck in overdrive - and no amount of deep breathing seems to help.

Trauma & Past Wounds

Something happened - maybe long ago, maybe recently - and it's still shaping how you move through the world. You've tried to 'get over it' but your body hasn't caught up yet.

Feeling Numb or Disconnected

You go through the motions but feel strangely far from yourself. Emotions are muted. Life feels flat. You can't quite explain it, but something important feels missing.

Burnout & Chronic Stress

You've been pushing through for so long that your body is finally sending the bill. Exhaustion, tension, difficulty sleeping - your system is asking you to slow down.

You don't need to have it all figured out before reaching out. That's what the first session is for.

FOR PARENTS

Does any of this
sound like your child?

Kids and teens experience many of the same struggles as adults - trauma, anxiety, big emotions - it just comes out in different ways. Play therapy meets them where they are.

Big Feelings, Different Faces

Your child may be experiencing the same anxiety, stress, or big emotions adults do - it just shows up differently. Meltdowns, withdrawal, or acting out are often the body's way of asking for help.

Difficulties at School

Trouble focusing, meltdowns at drop-off, avoiding schoolwork, or conflict with peers can all be signs their nervous system needs support — not just a behavior plan.

Feeling Overwhelmed as a Parent

You're doing everything you know how to do, and it still feels hard. You don't have to have all the answers — we'll figure this out together, as a team.

Parents are always part of the process. So the skills we build in session get practiced and reinforced at home too.

MY APPROACH

How the work
actually unfolds.

The Quirky Bodies framework isn't a strict protocol — it's a living, breathing process. We move through it at whatever pace your nervous system needs.

Regulate

Come back to safety.

Before anything else, your nervous system needs to feel safe. We build practical grounding skills and start listening to your body's signals together.

Restore

Reconnect with yourself.

With more capacity in your system, we gently explore the deeper layers — processing what's been stuck and rebuilding your relationship with your body.

Renew

Build a life that feels like yours.

Healing creates space for new ways of being. We integrate your growth and move toward the life you actually want — not the one you've been surviving.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE

The stories that
keep me going.

Shared with permission. Identifying details changed for privacy.

"I've been in therapy before, but this felt completely different. Kerry helped me actually feel the shift — not just think about it. For the first time, I understand what it means to feel safe in my body."

S

S.M.
Trauma & PTSD

"I came in convinced my anxiety was just 'how I am.' Kerry showed me it was my nervous system trying to protect me — and then gave me the tools to work with it instead of against it."

J

J.K.

"The way Kerry holds space is unlike anything I've experienced. She's warm, funny, honest, and genuinely curious about me — not just my symptoms. I actually look forward to our sessions."

R
